Pick a list of words relevant to your business. Then create separate lists of
these keywords for each country. Focus on “long-tail keywords” -- keywords
that are very specific to your business and the products/services you offer. For
example: marketing is a broad keyword that will be hard to get traffic for, and
inbound marketing software is a long-tail keyword with less competition that
will be easier to get traffic for. A good page titles is probably one of the most important SEO strategies for one page SEO. You should include your niche keyword in each of your page titles and if possible your H1. A breadcrumb is a row of internal links at the top or bottom of the
page that allows visitors to quickly navigate back to a previous
section or the root page. Many breadcrumbs have the most
general page (usually the root page) as the first, left-most link and list
the more specific sections out to the right. SEO isn’t just for large companies. As a small business or local business, there is actually a lot you can do to achieve local goals yourself. Many of these things relate to focus. When optimizing your Google My Business page, remember to upload your business logo and photos of your business (staff, office building, etc.). For an online business with no physical location, you can hide your address, but be sure to fill in and validate every other piece of information entered.
Use both internal and external links to add further value
Do some keyword research and create a list of all the keywords for which you want to be ranked on search engines. Sort this list by priority or relevance to your business. And divide the words into “transactional” or “informational” keywords. Transactional keywords include a clear user intention to such as “buy red sneakers.” Informational keywords, in contrast, focus on obtaining information. Websites that are constantly improving their code, publishing valuable content, and earning backlinks and social share activity are building a larger arsenal than sites that are not engaging in SEO. Organic SEO is a lengthy process. Not because it’s complicated to implement (though it can be), but because tracking what works versus what doesn’t requires a least a few months’ worth of results to analyze. Plus, you need numbers! Localise as many elements as you can
The visual structure of your website is, in most cases, presented by the menu of your website. Focusing on conversational keywords, or keywords someone might use when speaking out loud, will help you future-proof your website. Links from low-quality sites will do very little for your visibility. If the site practices Black Hat SEO (link-schemes, spamming, doorway pages) then can potentially harm your ranking. How do you add content to Google? One of the most important elements to building an online marketing strategy around SEO is empathy for your audience. Once you grasp what your target market is looking for, you can more effectively reach and keep those users. Editorial links can be some of the most powerful for SEO because they come from other publications in your niche mentioning your company. They can also come from thought leadership guest posts that you write and get published on third-party sites.
Aim to be in the top 3 positions, not just in the first page

People will find your content because they speak the same
language and seek your advice. " When building backlinks to your website, you have to make everything look as natural as possible. It’s normal that a website has most of its links to the homepage. Having more pages that are optimized for different keywords gives you increased opportunity for traffic. It doesn't necessarily mean more traffic, though, since it depends on how popular and how competitive those new keywords are. “Link building” is a term that SEO practitioners use to describe the process of building credibility. The idea is simple: people link to your website when they perceive your brand as a source of authority. Website with streamlined URL structures often tends to rank higher than those with a messy structure and confusing organization of content.
In a Searchmetrics 2016 study into ranking factors, there was an “extremely high” correlation between social signals and Google rankings. However, this couldn’t be accredited to the algorithm, but rather to the “overlap between brand websites performing strongly in social networks and being allocated top positions by Google.” It’s better to have a custom 404 error code page than to have an empty page — it doesn’t send a good message to search engines or site visitors. It will be hard to redirect your resources to mobile if your company has been completely entrenched in optimizing its desktop SEO. Like other internet marketing strategies, success won’t happen overnight. It takes persistent and consistent work over the long-term to see substantial results. Evergreen content. Content you write once, and have it ranking for years and years. Content that constantly brings in traffic and compounds in value. Millions of businesses and individuals are competing for visibility in search engines, and many of them are writing what is, subjectively, “good” content. But what makes that content “good”?
Offer relevant, useful and original content
Metadata has become less important in SEO but is crucial to video indexing. Like images, Google can’t read media in the same way it can plain text, so your metadata should describe the video so that it can be read by search engine crawlers. Because Google likes sites that link out to good quality content, publishing your own curated content can be a very smart move. The number and quality of links to your website are quite important to Google
and other search engines for your rank on different terms. You should aim to
increase inbound links from sites of the same country. Get sites in the UK to
link to your co.uk extension, sites in Ireland to link to your .ie extension, etc. You can use some practical tools that’ll make it much easier to find keywords. You will still have to make a short list yourself (no corners to cut there), but once you have ten to twenty proper keywords, you can use several tools to find similar keywords. Using these tools will significantly speed up the process of coming up with long lists of keywords. Each webpage should have a single focus
keyword and be included 1-3 times naturally in the page
content. Make sure it’s also included in your page title, meta
description, and H1 text assuming it fits within the parameters.
If it doesn’t fit well, work towards a more general keyword.
